Kat is a Writer, Filmmaker, and Creative Director available for freelance. Most recently she was a Global Brand Creative Director at Spotify.
Her writing’s appeared in The New Yorker, The Onion, McSweeney’s and more, and was selected for The New Yorker’s Best Shouts of 2019.
Kat left home in Canada at 18 to move to the US on a tennis scholarship. Her art explores things like identity, belonging, technology, and why the US has M&M’s instead of Smarties (Smarties are better! She will die on this hill!).
Kat was recognized as a Young Gun in 2021 for her body of work. Her work has also been awarded by Cannes, The Webbys, The Clios, The One Show, D&AD, and more.
